My Cartoons Published In writeHackr Magazine!

writehackr jpegANNOUNCEMENT…

Hey guys,

I’m excited to officially announce that two of my ATTACK OF THE WORDS! comic strips have been published in the past two issues of writeHackr Magazine! Issue #02 came out last month and featured my strip titled, “Deadline”, and issue #03 just came out a few days ago, featuring my strip titled, “Picky Eater”. If you’re a fan of John Steinbeck, then you’ll no doubt enjoy that second one πŸ™‚

Due to a 30-day exclusive use clause, I can’t share the Picky Eater one yet, but 30 days have now passed since Deadline was published in issue #2, so I’ll be sharing that one tomorrow morning here on the blog.

If you are a freelance writer, blogger or aspiring book author, you might want to check out writeHackr magazine and sign up for a subscription. And of course, you’ll get the first peek at the AOTW comics that I draw exclusively for them.

The first issue is actually available for free when you download the app RIGHT HERE.

Adios!

Chris

    1. Thanks, Karen! It feels pretty good! Now I just need to get back into drawing again. My art muscles have been getting a little flabby the past few weeks, since I’ve been focusing exclusively on freelance writing.

Back to the drawing board! πŸ˜‰

  1. Dude! Way to go…’got your foot in the door…keep it up…et cetera, et cetera, etc…flex those “art muscles”…but seriously, I’m very proud of you and what you’re doing. Perseverance and success go hand-in-hand…..

    1. Thanks Janine! After all these years of just “dreaming” about it, I’m glad I finally starting pushing out of my comfort zone and pursuing cartooning. Thanks for the support! πŸ™‚

  2. That’s freakin’ amazeballs. You’re on your way! You’ve paid your dues and now the limelight is shifting to your great talents and abilities!
I finished the 4th draft (while we’ve been driving all over the place, haha) and have the husby editing it right now. So…here’s to upping the ante – on both our journeys. πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Cynthia, wuzzup! Congrats on the progress with your novel. So exciting to see it all coming together like that!
