Okay, folks. Here we go, again.
It’s about half past midnight.
I’m pretty jacked up on Mountain Dew Code Red and Doritos right now, and I might not be thinking straight. But I don’t care because I AM FEELIN THIS.
For 5+ months my blogging motivation has been in the toilet, but not tonight. Tonight I’m feeling it.
You might remember last year (or maybe the year before) I wrote a blog post that talked about how some of my best decisions and progress in life happens when I just move into action without taking too much time to think about it.
Some of us have a bad habit of overthinking things, myself included. But sometimes, when you’re feeling motivated to do something new or just take another whack at something, you just gotta go for it and not worry about failing or not following through and feeling stupid.
That’s where I’m at tonight.
I don’t want to think about this too much, because I’ll probably just “think” myself right out of doing it and keep on being stuck like I have been since February.
Goals for August 2021
On the one hand, I am constantly thinking about goals and things I want to change in my life. So writing this next section should be a breeze.
Yet, on the other hand, I really haven’t thought through what I’m about to write here. As I’m writing this sentence, I literally don’t even know what my goals are for next month. I just feel like it’s time to pick some targets, write them down in a blog post, hit publish and then figure out how to make it all happen.
So I’m not going to analyze and plan this to death. Just gonna jot down some goals and get busy.
Hold on to your butts…
